NOKTOR HyperPrime Lens

My brother asked me what lens he should buy for his Panasonic GF2. One of the lenses I suggested was the NOKTOR HyperPrime.

The build quality of the lens is amazing. Also the size was practical and easy to carry around.

“With a maximum aperture of F0.95, the Noktor Hyperprime is the fastest lens designed for Micro Four Thirds and E-mount cameras.

At open aperture, the lens renders pictures and video with extreme shallow depth of field for a dreamy and unique aesthetic.

Extreme Low-light Shooting
In low-light photography and cinematography, the lens exceeds the perception of the human eye. From nightscapes to campfires, now you can shoot in situations that are often impossible to capture with a normal lens.” source Noktor

Sample Pics

Noktor produced a great lens for the Micro Four Thirds and E-mount cameras. Though at times I felt like I was working with a Zoom lens, I needed to step back a lot further than I expected to capture the shot. There was one thing that slightly bothered me and it was the Lens focus ring, there is a screw that you need to tighten in order to adjust the right aperture. Apart from that this is a great lens that requires a bit of practice to get use it.

Overall I give the lens 8.5/10

i disagree, i know a lot of people who have good quality camera’s and very ugly and bad photos! and i also know people who can take AMAZING pictures with a digital camera, im not saying camera’s dont help, tey do help a lot but it still depends on the person behind the camera, why dont you want to admit your a good photographer ?:P

I never considered myself a “good photographer” maybe because I look at other talented photographers and bench mark myslef against them. Yet I am grateful that people like you enjoy my photographs and sometimes others dont, at the end it is all a matter of taste.
